So then he just did all the crazy stuff he wanted to do. And I said, "Bruce, you can do the craziest things that you want because you're Bruce Willis. But it was not a gigantic-budget movie, and we were obviously on strict time constraints. There was one day, I was in the studio, I forget what scene it was, and he was trying to challenge me to do something ridiculous in the scene. But he's Bruce Willis, he can do whatever he wants. I mean, he pulls pranks and he'll go off-script and do insane things. And he was great with everyone on the crew, not just the actors, and he created a great mood on set. Are they nice? Are they aloof? Do they talk? Do they want to be left alone? Do you have a rapport with them outside of work? Do you sit next to them at lunch? I mean you never know what someone's preferences are. I'll be honest with you, I've worked with some very famous, fancy people and you never know what you're going to get when you get on set with them. What was it like working with him on Breach? That was the show I did my first-ever fight anything. Even going back to Alias, I learned on that set. I've got some girlfriends who are actresses who just absolutely are not interested in doing any action whatsoever, I'm all for it. Like I said, I think it adds a different dimension to a character and a different appeal, for me anyway. It’s that strong female, I-can-play-with-the-boys kind of vibe, which has sort of been my personal vibe for my whole life. And then you see it on screen and you look like a total badass, and I just think that's great. And I am drawn to it because, first of all, it's so fun to learn the technique and to learn, whether it's kicks or punches or swordplay or whatever it may be, it's just fun to do. But physicality in a role adds a different dimension to the role, for me anyway. I love stunt work, and obviously, when I need to have a stunt double, I am greatly appreciative of that as well. What do you like about those kinds of characters?įirst of all, I love doing stunts. And you've played a lot of other stunt-heavy roles, going back to Alias. She gets it done, you get to be physical. And then, the idea of working with Bruce Willis was pretty cool, and I liked the script, and I thought, "All right, well, let's go see what Fitzgerald, Georgia’s all about." But the main draw for me was working with John again because he is wonderful. So initially, it was just, "I get to work with John again, how great is this?" Because I really like working with him. And so when I got the offer for this film, John reached out to me and I had always said I would do anything to work with him again. ![]() And it's a movie that I'm really proud of, and John Suits directed it.
